Hi Shar, I understand when you wonder why. It just doesn’t make sense sometimes. My husband was 59 at diagnosis and 60 when passed. He was the healthiest guy I knew, always active. Some people who are incredibly unhealthy live years. Cancer shows no boundaries, attacks the healthy and the weak. We must continue the fight until it takes no more victims!
Saw a Pooh quote today “If there ever comes a day that we can’t be together…..keep me in your heart, I’ll stay there forever.”
Hugs to you. NancyDearest Shar, we will never know why all the GOOD people are taken. Guess it is not for us to ask why and to just know they are needed elsewhere.

Mom has been gone now for 6 months which is also the time we had with her after the diagnosis. She was stage IV (like so many) when it was found and although she gave it a good fight, she never seemed to catch a break.I know that she is in heaven as her faith was very strong, but that doesn’t stop me from wondering why. She was so healthy (at least she seemed that way) and so active. It also scares me to think how life changes in a moment.
I miss you so much mom and will always carry you in my heart!
