Cisplatin & Gemzar may at best may extend life approx 1 year or less, to which everyone in the room became hysterical……..

I am scared to death to lose my mother, I know I should be lucky, having her almost 40 years, but I want more. I want to fix this, and make it go away.

Option #1
Gemzar once week 3 weeks on 1 week off for 6 months

Or

Option #2
Gemzar+Cisplatin once a weak, 2 weeks on and 1 week for 6 months

Margins were clear during vein resection, so there is no need to radiate right now per MSK physician, which was strange because pathology said different. So now I am confused.
