Thanks all for you encouragement. Yes, I am still surrounded by my four legged friends, and a great deal of worry was what do do with 2 horses, 2 dogs, and 2 cats.

My daughter is still home from college, so it is also nice for her and my son to know they still have a home to come home to during the holidays. This has been my home for over 10 years, and I really don’t want to go. I just hope that things work out so I can keep it.

I decided to go the refi route because I’m not ready to die any time soon :) Bring on that 30 year mortgage!

    Love to all,
    Lisa

    Hi Lisa,

Thanks for sharing that. It is indeed good as Darla says that there are people out there who will listen and who care. Good stuff.

    Best wishes

    Lisa,

This is great news. Atleast it will give you a chance to breath & regroup. It’s good to know that there are people out there who are willing to listen, understand and truely care about your situation.

Lisa, what a load off the mind and the wallet. Good for you! We finally put the house up By Owner and so far people have taken 30 fliers but not one call. Must be nosy neighbors taking them. That is just great news.

    Lisa,
GREAT NEWS! Does that mean you are still surrounded by the four legged children? I didnt ask, but did your daughter make it home for Christmas and frighten you with all her college stories?

Lisa, I’m very glad you met someone with a heart & a brain in synch with it!! You are NOT a problem, you are a customer/client & should be evaluated on your own facts. As a solicitor, I used to act for Lenders & it makes me so cross when they work solely on “criteria” & not on common sense!!!

Good luck with your future dealings with them.

My house listing expired. No one is buying, let alone looking, right now. In four months I only had 2 showings.

Lisa…..I was wondering about your home situation and am pleased to hear that a solution has been found for the immediate future. Do you still have your house on the market, for sale?
I am so glad that this has turned out well for you.
    Best,
    Marion

Due to unforseen circumstances (cancer! Job loss!) I fell behind on my mortgage and was facing foreclosure.

I finally talked to someone at my mortgage company who cared and took the time with me to find out the right refinance/home retention program for me. It was such a relief to talk to someone who treated me as a human being and not a problem. This was an answer to prayer. I will be paying $300 less for the next 6 months, then evaluated for the rest of the program based on my making the payments on time. This is a good thing.
