Rosebud,
My sincere condolences on the loss of your mother to this awful disease. May she rest in peace.
I hope this foundation can help you find answers and comfort.

April 3, 2014 at 9:43 am #81291iliasMemberDear Rosebud,
so sorry to hear about your loss. This is a tragic disease and I too hope that someday this disease is more recognised and more of our cancer research funds in Australia and other parts of the world be allocated to some of the rarer cancers.
Keep memories close to your heart and you will feel your mother by your side always. Since my mum passed, I feel her palm on the left side of my chest each time I think of her.
God Bless

I am so very sorry indeed to hear of the passing of your dear mum. Please accept my sincere condolences. Having lost my dad to CC back in 2009 I so know that this is such a tough time for you right now. Please know that we are here for you and my thoughts are with you and your family right now.
Hugs,
Gavin
April 2, 2014 at 10:49 pm #81289darlaSpectatorI am so sorry to hear that your mother has passed away. Try to take some comfort in knowing that at least she did not have to suffer for a long time and is no longer in pain or suffering. Keep her with you forever in your heart and memories. You have my deepest sympathy.
Love & Hugs,
DarlaApril 2, 2014 at 10:26 pm #81288lainySpectatorDear Rosebud, I am so very sorry about your Mother, and as we always say she is now at Peace and very, very happy. In time all your good memories will outweigh the bad, it takes some time but it will get better. Perhaps stars are not stars at all but rather openings in the sky where our loved ones shine down on us to let us know they are HAPPY!
Those we love must someday pass beyond our present sight…
They leave us and the world we know without their radiant light.
But we know that like a candle their lovely light will shine
To brighten up another place more perfect…more divine.
And in the realm of Heaven where they shine so warm and bright,
Our loved ones live forevermore in God’s eternal light.April 2, 2014 at 9:38 pm #81287yellow77roseSpectatorso sorry for your loss.
April 2, 2014 at 9:35 pm #9754rosebudMemberHi everyone. I am very new to this website, as I have never discovered until a few days before my mom, 65 yo, left this world. She was diagnosed with cc mid jan 2014. Oncologist told us she had six months left. She was not a candidate for surgery and resisted chemo. I just wanted to share this information with everyone on here about my mom. She was such a fighter the whole time! Her days consisted of ups and downs all the time. I hope that one day cc will receive as much recognition as other cancers. As with other cc patients, she was so healthy before. Always at gym everyday for two hours.
P.S. Thank you to Lainy for sending me the list of “what to expect”
