Orthotopic liver transplantation is another therapeutic option that can achieve complete extirpation of locally advanced HC in judiciously selected patients following standardized neoadjuvant protocols.
Please note: percutaneous biopsies and/or biopsies performed at the time of endoscopic ultrasound will exclude selection for liver transplant eligibility. It is of most importance to discuss with physician prior to performing biopsy for the purpose of diagnoses.
