    Kathy-I’m sure you must know how much it meant to Pat that you stuck by her to the end. May she rest in peace and I hope you find warmth in the memory of the times you shared.

    My heartfelt condolences to you and to the Martin family. It’s so devastating to lose someone you love. I hope you are able to find some peace and comfort in this hard time.

    I am so sad to have lost my good friend Pat Martin (see Martin blog) that it has taken me awhile to post this message. She died peacefully at home on Friday, Feb. 22 surrounded by her family, friends and her beloved dogs. She lived with this horrendous cancer for 2 years and 5 days and valiantly fought until the end. She taught us all not only how to live, but how to die with grace and dignity. I will miss her very much.

    I came to this website every day for the two years she fought her battle and I learned so much from all of you who are going through the same thing. I hope all of you will keep up the good fight, and I pray to God that a cure is found in the near future.
