Dear Pam – What a blessing that your dad went peacefully and with his loved ones at his side. I am so sorry for your loss. When you have shared your life with someone wonderful, it is so difficult to say goodbye. I am sure that the strength of his love will carry you through the days ahead. I lost my father due to cancer when I was just 25 years old due to pancreatic cancer. I’m now 58 years old and looking back, his death was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to cope with. Memories of him are all that I have left, but those memories are so wonderful – I share them with my children and my grandchildren, so he still lives on with us through our memories.
