    I too am sorry to hear of the loss of your friend Nancy and my thoughts right now are with you and Nancy’s family. I know that this will be a real tough one for you to deal with Randi but you also know that we are all always here for you as well.

    My Dear Randi, I am so very sorry to read about Nancy. We have met many wonderful people on here from all over the world and one day I just know we will be reading more successes in banishing CC. What hurts one family member here hurts us all. Thoughts go out to Nancy’s family and to you.

    Randi….I am so sorry to hear of Nancy’s passing and your loss of a trusted friend. My heart goes out to the family and to you.

    Is there any way for us to send a condolence note to her family?

    Not to take away from the tragic of the situation, dear Randy, please know that you have been of incredible value to us all.

    It is with great sadness that I tell you that my dear friend Nancy, my long distance survivor friend, died yesterday. We were diagnosed at the same time in 2009. She had surgery and chemo and so did I. We were each other’s support via emails, chats, and FB posts. She had a year when she was in remission, but like this disease does so often, it popped it’s ugly head up again and again. We called ourselves “the chicas” because we had seen it here on this discussion board at one time and decided we wanted to have a label for our unusual friendship.

    I am incredibly sad that she is gone and the world is a lesser place and has a little less light then it did just 2 days ago. She was a mom, a wife, a friend, a grandmother, a mother-in-law, and she will be missed.

    I know I am not here very often these days, but it’s times like this that I remember all of the people I have met through this discussion board and how lucky I am to have found them.
