April 27, 2017 at 4:58 pm #94590marionsModeratorUnfortunately, the hard cover books are no longer available. The next best option is to download it: with this link:http://cholangiocarcinoma.org/professionals/educational-materials/
Also, the second and updated version is nearing the point of publication.

MarionApril 27, 2017 at 8:01 am #94588lainySpectatorDear Anna, what a beautiful person you are and I am sure your Dad is so very proud of you! One thing I used to do was to keep our CC books on hand and when going to a Doctor like a GI, GP actually almost any, I would give him/her a book. It is surprising how many are still not in the know when it comes to CC.

Thank you for your kind words. I continue to work on focusing on the positive regardless of how much I miss my Daddy. He remains in me and I work to be the person he made me to be.
I appreciate your prayers.
Does anyone have any input on a way other than donating that I can work on giving to this group or increasing awareness of Cholangiocarcinoma?
Thank you!
Anna

As I sit in heaven and I watch you everyday,
I try to let you know with signs, I never went away.
I hear you when you’re laughing and watch you as you sleep.
I even place my arms around you, to calm you when you weep.
I see you wish the days away begging to have me home,
I try to send you signs to show you, you’re really not alone.
Heaven is truly beautiful, just you wait and see.
Live your life, laugh again, enjoy yourself, be free.
Then I know with every breath you take you will be taking one for me.April 12, 2017 at 3:04 am #94581debnorcalModeratorDear Anna,
You and your family have my deepest condolences. I am so sorry that you lost your dad to Cholangiocarcinoma. Even though progress for treatments is being made, we lose far too many to this awful cancer.
Thank you for posting your note and Felipe’s obituary. What a beautiful tribute. It sounds like he was a deeply caring, warm person that was beloved by many. The love and support you and your family gave him as he battled CC surely comforted him. I’m glad you found our board found information to be helpful. We are here to support you during this most difficult time as well.
Wishing peCe to you and your family.
Debbie
April 12, 2017 at 2:12 am #13200robertannaMemberHello!
Wanted to share the obituary of my father who I lost last week to cholangiocarcinoma. Even though, I never posted on this site, I want you to know your information was helpful to me. My father battled this cancer for 13 and a half months. Doctors did attempt to do a liver resection but it was not possible. My mother took great care of him at home and my siblings and I regularly visited. We had a beautiful Father’s day in 2016 and a very nice, memorable Christmas which included a great grand baby for my parents!
Thank you for the information you provide!
