December 10, 2015 at 2:12 pm #90755lainySpectatorDear Surfer1, I am so sorry to read about your Dear Husband and please accept my heartfelt condolences. You both fought a valiant war and now it is time for Peace.
The following is from your Husband to his Beloved Wife:
If I should be the first to go,
And leave you alone, my Dear,
Let not your heart be lonely,
Nor in your eyes a tear.
Grieve not for me, my Darling,
I’ll not be far away,
With petals of love and tenderness,
I’ll pave for you the way.
To join me in our sanctuary,
And ne’er again we’ll part.
Grieve not for me, my Darling,
I live within your heart.
Take joy again in living,
As you did in years gone by;
God knows what of he’s doing,
And not be questioned why.
Grieve not for me, my Darling,
My life with you on earth
Each moment filled with happiness,
And love so few be worth.
I’ll be waiting for you Sweetheart
Where skys are ever blue,
With eager heart and open arms
Patiently, for you.December 10, 2015 at 1:54 pm #90754darlaSpectatorDear Surfer1,

I am so sorry for your loss. I am on west coast time also and thought I’d take a quick read of this board before going to sleep, and I was so sad for you and your husband when I read your message. This disease is just awful and it takes so many dear loved ones from us. Please know that many people in this community care and are there for you at this difficult time.I wish you peace,
DebbieDecember 10, 2015 at 4:57 am #11931surfer1SpectatorMy husband passed away this morning. He fought for nearly 2.5 years but could not beat the reoccurrence after his resection surgery, despite cyberknife and various chemo combinations. Another huge loss to this cancer. I’m devastated.
