    Hi Jack,

Welcome to the site. Sorry that you had to find us all here and I am sorry to hear what you and Diane are going through. But glad that you have joined in with us here as you are in the best place for support and help and will get a load of each from everyone here. Just so you know, I deleted the other introduction duplicate posts that you made today just so that we can keep the place a bit tidier as it were! Hope that is okay with you and just thought I’d let you know in case you wondered where they had gone.

Looking forward to hearing more from you so please keep on coming back here as much as you want to.

My best wishes to you and Diane,

    Gavin

Hello, Jack and welcome to our remarkable family but sorry you had to find us. This is the best place to be for CC support. CONGRATULATIONS on Diane’s surgery! Surgery is one of our favorite words. Now, with that said, I would definitely seek a 2nd and if need be a 3rd opinion. To come that far and then be told it is iffy….I would definitely get that other opinion. Like you say Diane is young and otherwise healthy and deserves more of a chance. Different eyes and minds see things differently and if someone else is in agreement then you will know how to proceed. We do have some members who have been treated at Cleveland Clinic and perhaps they can chime in here.
Please keep us posted on Diane as we truly care and below is a site you may find helpful.

P.S. Could you please delete 3 of your posts that appeared or I am afraid people will be answering on all 4 and you may miss something or they will.

    Hello All,

My name is Jack and here is our story best I can state:
My wife Diane was diagnosis in June of 2015 with Intrahepatic Cholangiocarsinoma and had surgery a few weeks later …. taking out 40% of left lobe of liver and her Galbladder and one lymph node , unfortunately he could not get a lymph node that was to close to artery. After recovery of surgery and leaking and stints in and out and infection. She was able to do two sessions of Chemo when we started third round she got a nasty infection that took over a week in hospital and another two weeks of meds to clear up. Since then (about two months) She is feeling good . Her oncologist is afraid to do anymore Chemo (another infection) but he left it up to her and she has up to this point agreed. (Quality of life)

We have been married 37 years. Tomorrow is her birthday and she will be 57 years young! Also tomorrow we see Doctor and she has CT scan. We will regroup after. Diane is a amazing woman-mother- grandmother- wife , with god in her heart!
    Best Regards
    Jack
