I was so sad to hear that the surgery couldn’t be done. But, do listen to Lisa and Kris…don’t give up hope. It is a new battle now. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

March 26, 2009 at 3:04 pm #27677lisaSpectatorHi Rose,
I’m really sorry that the surgery wasn’t successful. I hope and pray that you can recover quickly from the surgery. It will be good to get the stent in. Don’t give up hope yet… My surgery was over a year ago and I’ll still alive and kicking!
God bless,Lisa

It is with much sadness that I read your news. We will be thinking about you, and praying for you. I am so sorry that you didn’t get your surgery.God is still with you, as you know. We mere human beings can never know or understand his plans, but it is a comfort to know that he is by our sides. He has never left mine, and has become a closer friend than ever.Love ,

I am so sorry you did not get your surgery, especially when you worked so hard for it. I have just read your caring bridge site and am in awe of your strength after such events. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Remember what I tell my doctor “I know the outcome, but there is a big difference in 5 months and 5 years and nobody knows what it will be. I am young. I have a wonderful life. Besides having cancer, I am perfectly healthy. So we will fight until we cant fight anymore. I am not a statistic and I am more than my cancer.” That is you too, dear Rose. We are fighters…with a lot to fight for.I will keep you in my prayers.

I am so sorry for your bad news, I pray for your strength as you will surely need it. I have spent some time on your Caring Bridge and you have a lot in your favor–your youth and your lack of other health problems, your Sophie, cute as a button, your Hailie and Caleb, precious as can be. My mother fought this on her terms and I encourage you to do the same.
