Nancy, I forgot to mention that by logging the visits it really helped to read them when I was feeling down. I even copied them off the Computer when I got to 128 (over 6 years) as I didn’t want to ever loose them.
BTW Mel who is my mate so to speak, now, really believes that Teddy and his wife Jacquey put us together. They were our first friends when we moved here 22 years ago and we had not seen each other in 15 years. She “relocated” a year ago and we have been together now for 8 months. I digress! Jacquey and Teddy were frequent visitors and now we barely hear from them anymore. Mmmmm Guess they feel they did a good job? The nice thing is we all knew each other and can talk to our hearts content about each one! YES, life is for the living and the lesson I have learned is just when you think you can never love like before you find out there is still room for more in your heart.

    Thank you Lainy :)

I think I need to start writing all these visits down and compile a list myself. I have had a couple in the last month..but today’s was the best.

My niece spent literally over a hundred hours looking thru photo albums and making a video of grandma for her service in 2 weeks. I kept editing and making sure we got all of mom’s favorite photos in the video. My mom loved taking photos lol.

Oh, Nancy, I answered your email first but had to tell you how much I love this explanation of butterflies and I want to say, what a BEAUTIFUL Mom you have. I so agree about butterflies as it happened to me last Spring.
My best friend, who was my matron of honor when Teddy and I married, moved out here 2 years ago. Last April we were sitting outside of a restaurant chatting and this “handsome” yellow big butterfly flew a perfect circle around us 2 times and then flew off like an airplane taking off.
I hope everyone sees lots of butterflies.

Today’s a month since I lost my mom. It’s as hard today as a month ago…haven’t had a day gone by without tears….but…

this afternoon, while walking to the hospital shrine for our daily visits to mom, saw this beautiful butterfly in front of me on a busy street with food vendors. Took some photos. Tried to find a pen but only had a folded umbrella in my bag. Put the umbrella down and the butterfly walked on it. She stayed on my umbrella until I moved her to a safe area, away from danger.

I kept thinking today is the 15th, but it’s actually the 16th in Taiwan (15th in Hawaii). We lost mom on 11/16. Surely made today a little better :)

This photo of my mom was taken years ago but it was her favorite.

Butterflies are an incredibly common sign from deceased loved ones!

Seeing butterflies shortly after losing a loved is a beautiful sign that the spirit of your loved one lives on.

In the case of seeing butterflies in connection to deceased loved ones, sometimes angels will send butterflies to comfort and reassure you that the soul of your loved one lives on, and other times your loved one may put some of their soul essence into a butterfly to actually connect with your physically once again.
