I am so sorry to hear about your sister, Anita. She was so young and this is such a terrible illness. At least she died peacefully and I hope this will be of some comfort to you at this sad time.

December 7, 2008 at 5:21 pm #15481lainySpectatorHappy little angels layed down their harps one day,
As word arrived that Sister was coming up to stay.
All the little angels and all the big ones too,
Remembered how they watched on earth, things that Sisters do.
Many a little angel had tales he could tell,
Of the many little hurts that Sister somehow made all well!
And Sister’s lips were smiling and her eyes were full of mirth—
For she knew she’d be as happy in Heaven as on Earth!December 7, 2008 at 4:56 pm #15480jeffgMemberCarolyn,
My deepest sympathy goes out to you and all your family. It’s so sad, but I think God has bigger and more pleaseant plans for her in Heaven.
God Bless,

I am so sorry she is gone, many years ago when I was a girl I read a poem about finding peace in death that moved me and may comfort you:

My mother’s illness and death brought my brothers and sisters closer together and I hope it was the same for you and that you can seek comfort in each other.
Please visit the grief support section when you are in need, we are here for you.

Sending hugs and prayers for comfort to you and your family at the loss of your beloved Anita. The heavenly choir will sound sweeter this Christmas as your sister joins the angels’ heralds this holy season.
May His peace dry your tears and your memories make you smile.

I am so sorry for your loss. I am glad that she went peacefully. I know how you are feeling & how hard it is to accept this terrible loss. Cherish all your memories. Anita is now in a better place and will no longer suffer the pain of this terrible disease. Remember that she will be in your heart forever. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love & hugs,
Darla
December 7, 2008 at 9:20 am #415middlesisterSpectatorAnita died peacefully in the hospice a few hours ago. She was 20 days short of her 60th birthday. We love her and I am so heartbroken. God loves her best. May she dance with the angels.
Prayers to all of you who are battling this disease. Don’t give up!
Love and blessings,
