    Exciting. Early detection of initial cc or recurrance, as we know, can have a significant positive impact on treatment outcomes.

    Wow…..this is remarkable. It said less than half a millimeter. The MRI can do half a centimeter ….but this would absolutely be a great advantage to patients to watch for recurrences of cancer ….and so many more applications. Thanks for sharing this, Marion.

    As we know too well, due to plate thickness, tumor’s less than 1 cm are undetectable with current scans. If indeed this newly developed scanner identifies minute lesions it would then lead to earlier diagnoses and identification of disease recurrence.
