Oh, Tess that is about the best news ever!!! And don’t think “Grandpa” isn’t beaming over this one. I am so very happy for you. Is is not funny how things evolve? I am sure the tears are bittersweet but don’t think for one minute that your dad doesn’t know and probably already knows if its a boy or girl. Many years ago…I used to eat an apple and it seemed to help the nausea. I am just so excited for you I could burst. Please keep us posted on this wonderful event.
Had to go to the blood lab this week, right next to the chemo center, where I’ve been taking Dad for appointments for the last 4+ months. It was the first time that I’ve been back since his passing 2 weeks ago, and it was the first time we’ve ever received good news from the ‘second floor- blue’… looks like we’re having a baby!
Perhaps it’s the nausea or perhaps the cycle of life taking new form, but the tears have fallen softer in the last few days.
