    Paul….welcome to our site. So sorry you had to find us, but glad to know that you are here with us.
    I assume that the cancer has metastasized to your spine and you have been given radiation treatments? Most likely your doctor wants you to complete the 6 cycles of chemo treatment and then order a scan. What are the biggest issues you are encountering in addition to the pain caused by the metastases to the spine. What medications are you taking at present? Please share a bit more with us. Have you reached out for additional expert opinions? Trusting your doctor does not exclude you from obtaining additional information.

    hello,

    I am trying to make sure I get the care possible and don”t know for example if my oncologist knows about this. I am stage four and struggling with gemzar and cisplatin among many other issues such as they had to fuse my spine cuz the tumor was taking over. I need help.

    I am in round five of chemo treatments. Cant hardly eat. Doc says cancer is spreading and chemo not really working, but why am I continuing?

    he says I do foundation 1 treatment next? I trust my doctor, but just want to make sure i am doing everthing i can.

    Yes, I believe this approach (translational genomics) and immunotherapy hold the keys to a cure for many diseases.

    The P53 tumor suppressor gene is in about 50% of cholangiocarcinoma patient, it is like the brake system in a car, if it functions normally, the car(the tumor) can be stopped as desired. but with P53 gene malfunction,the car( tumor) cannot be stopped and therefore the tumor keep on growing.
