Rest up, Marion – you’re always running around too much, and your ankle is trying to tell you something, I think! Feel better

Take care of yourself Marion, those ankle twists can be a bear! You don’t know how much you rely on strong ankles until you lose one…. Only you would still be running a marathon on crutches!

    Best to you-

Thanks Patty and Lainy. My toes resembles that of a little pig but, hey I can almost run a marathon on crutches, now.
    Hugs

Oh, Marion, we are so sorry to hear about your ankle. That is soooo painful. Guess you will have to stop the ballerina antics! Please feel better soon. I know David will do fine but it won’t be the same without you. Sending hugs your way.

Unfortunaly, I am not able to attend the 100th Annual Conference of Cancer Research, in Denver. While making a quick run to the store I twisted my ankle. My bags were packed, loaded with brochures, and the 6am flight to Denver took off without me. All the while, I am sitting on the couch with ice bags, hugging my crutches.

Luckily, David Windle was able to come through for us. He is tending to our booth at the exhibit hall, interacting with researchers and physicians and handing out information about the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation. I cannot express enough of my gratitude to him.

Luckily, we can still listen to the speech by Dr. Niederhuber
