Pam —
As the mother of a child who suffered from cc, Lauren’s story has touched my heart. I am sending prayers and buckets of positive thoughts and energy for Lauren!
Keep on keeping on … hold your head up high keep going!
You are correct …cc doesn’t know who it’s messing with !!Please take care-
LIVESTRONG!
GailJune 29, 2012 at 7:58 pm #62523lainySpectatorPam, I am so proud and humble at the same time with your attitudes. Like Teddy used to say, “It is what it is, now let’s take care of it!” How can your family miss with all the prayers and thoughts coming your way.
June 29, 2012 at 5:14 pm #62522pamelaSpectatorThanks to all of you. You really are amazing. After the initial shock, we are all ok. Whatever this thing is, we will continue the fight and NEVER give up. CC doesn’t have a clue who it is messing with!!
Love you all so much.
-Pam
June 29, 2012 at 4:40 pm #62521RandiSpectatorSo sad to read your post, but I am keeping good thoughts and many prayers that this is just a result of the theraspheres and not a tumor. It just can’t be a new tumor and that is that!!
Sending hugs…
-Randi-June 29, 2012 at 4:22 pm #62520cherbourgSpectatorSending hugs and prayers that this is just a small bump in the road. I know as a Mom you would rather this all be your problem and not your beautiful daughter’s!
Please try not to cross any bridges before you need to. This is a good time to follow the 5 minute rule…..you do 5 minutes…then you tackle the next 5 minutes!
We are all here for you and praying hard! Come here when you are afraid and / or need to just vent! We all have broad shoulders!
Deep breath!…..we are all praying for you and Lauren.
Hugs,
PamJune 29, 2012 at 1:09 pm #62519peonyMemberPam, my prayers are with you and Lauren.
June 29, 2012 at 2:16 am #62518pcl1029MemberHi, Pamela,
I am sorry to hear about your comment.
But please just wait until the next MRI scan result and the doctor appointment to find out exactly what that dark spot is;it may be just a dead space or something of unimportance. Like the PET scan ,it doesn’t mean when something lights up inside the body,it will be a tumor; it may be just something else like infection.
I will ask my friends in radiation to seek more answer about your situation.
God bless you and your daughter.June 29, 2012 at 1:39 am #62517darlaSpectatorPam,
Just read your posts and am so sorry to hear this. Like the others I am hoping for better news from the MRI results. Hang in there and know I am thinking of you and Lauren and hoping for the best.
Love & Hugs,
DarlaJune 28, 2012 at 6:23 pm #62516gavinModeratorDear Pam,
I am sorry to hear this news today. It is not what you, Lauren or any of us had hoped for at all. But I am with the others here in saying lets hope that this is not a new spot as the Onc said that it might not be. Keeping everything crossed for the next MRI and you know that we are all here for you.
Hugs to you and Lauren,
Gavin
June 28, 2012 at 5:24 pm #62515nancy246SpectatorDear Pam, Not the news any of us were expecting. Will pray for the results we all want to hear on Tuesday. There have been others with lesions and such that were not cancer so that is what we wish for! Sending love and hugs from Canada to you, Lauren, and your family as you cross another hurdle. It’ going to be a long week; try to get out and do something fun. Hugs. Nancy

JenJune 28, 2012 at 3:00 pm #62510EliSpectatorPam, I am with others who say hang in there and wait for the MRI results. It doesn’t have to be a new tumor. Theraspheres have side effects like any other treatment. Let’s hope and pray that’s what it is.
