If the weather will allow us to take off (major storm to reach Northern California) if so…then, I will be leaving for Fort Lauderdale, followed by a car trip to Orlando for the GI ASCO. Again, the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation will have an exhibit booth. And, for the first time, we will be able to display our banners. Karen had them made for us. Thanks again, dear Karen. I will take pictures with the hope that Rick will be able to display them for all to see. I will also have another Face to Face meeting with the members of the North American Task Force for Clinical Trials for Hepatobiliary Cancer. The GI ASCO conference offers several sessions pertaining to our cancer and I am hopeful to report back with some exciting good news. Also, I am planning on meeting with Laura, who is interested in volunteering for the Foundation. Lot’s of good things coming our way. I don’t have much time however, is there is anyone able to join me in Orlando (if you happen to live there) or, if someone would like to say a quick “hello” while I am visiting in Fort Lauderdale please, send me a note. (marion.schwartz@cholangicoarcinoma.org) I have a lay-over in Phoenix (hm…real close to Lainy) however, it doesn’t give me any time to leave the secure area and then check back in. Next time then.
Best to all,
Marion
