    Beth:

Wonderful new! Keep us posted on Art’s progress. You will learn all kinds of information on this site. Attitude is everything and Art must keep a positive attitude.

My hubby Tom had a resection in June 2008 and presented with jaundice in Nov. 2009. He was told to go home and prepare and that he had 6 months. We fired that oncologist and sought new doctors. His bilirubin level climbed to an all time high of 24.7 but after 28 radiation treatments and an external drain his billy is now down to 9.1. We are committed to KICKIN this cancer.

Go with God and KEEP KICKIN’ THAT cancer.
Prayers from Wisconsin are coming Art’s way!

We are waiting to hear about Art’s Latest PET scan results. He had 6 infusions of cisplatin and gemcitibine. We hope that the tumor has shrunk. They already know that we won’t be stopping chemo but the might have a new cocktail if this one doesn’t seem to be working.
Just to fill you in with our story, Art is a 33 year old who was diagnosed Aug 7, 2009. Had no symptoms but went jaundice. The CT scan showed a Klatskins tumor about 6cm (CC stage III). He had two PCT catheters inserted late August and discovered that he had PSC. He underwent a Laparoscopy by a liver specialist to see if they could remove the tumor but found that the PSC was far advanced and that if they removed the tumor his liver would fail.
Here’s hoping that chemo is working!!!!!!
