I read about Kris’ death and I was so sorry to hear about it. She was a bright light on this site and her spirit shown in all of her posts and all of the support she showed others. May she rest in peace.

It also amazes me of the community who tries so hard to make a difference and eventually hope and promise for change. Thank you to everyone!Just seen this post after my last post tonight. Terrible news but glad that Kris is suffering no more and is at peace now. Kris will never be forgotten and will be remembered by us all.

Another one of the good ones lost to this terrible disease. She lived her life to the fullest and is now free. RIP Kris.
So sorry to hear Kris passed away. When i was researching about bile duct cancer after my mom was diagnosed, her story was 1 of many that i read.
Kris will be deeply missed by so many. Her personality and fighting spirit shone through in her posts.

Kris Jacobson joined the cholangiocarcinoma foundation, Wednesday, April 6, 2011. Soon thereafter she was elected moderator to this board.
Kris was smart, funny and enjoyed living life and all it has to offer. Her curious nature and sharp intellect and distinct and unique interactions with others made her one of the most beloved and admired moderators on this site.
Rest in peace, dear Kris. You have left a big splash in this world and you will never be forgotten.
