Wow, that’s a substantial investment in a long term program dedicated to detection, prevention and personalized treatment modalities for patients. So very, very encouraging!

For several years, the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation in conjunction with Conquer Cancer (ASCO) has awarded a Young Investigator Grant. The purpose of this grant is to encourage young researchers to focus on this cancer with the hope that he/she will continue to make it a career path. As a medical oncology Fellow at Mass General Cancer Center, Dr. Saha’s work on cholangiocarcinoma has been recognized for publication in major scientific journals, including Nature, and by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), in the form of a Mentored Clinical Scientist Career Development Award. This Award will provide >$800,000 in support for cholangiocarcinoma research.
