“For the caterpillar, it is the end. For the butterfly, it is the beginning.” This is so very Kris and so very Hans and so very touching.

    Best wishes to all,
    Marion

What a beautiful picture of our Kris! You can’t ignore that twinkle in her eyes. This is how I’ll remember Kris and I’ll think of her anytime I see daffodils…..

Gavin – I try to donate blood when I can (since my son needed so much). It just so happens there is a blood drive at my local YMCA on Feb. 19. I thought it was ironic to be the same day as Kris’ Memorial Service…..it will be my way of giving back for John and for Kris as well. I wanted to be close to the Atlantic Ocean that day, since I believe they are scattering Kris’ ashes in the Atlantic. I may drive to the Jersey shore (about a 30 minute drive for me) after donating blood and place a few tulips in the waves. I miss Kris a lot. She was a great friend to all; and she and my son had a very special bond. Thanks for sharing – Nancy

So disappointed. I just found out I can’t donate blood tomorrow because it is too soon since my last donation (earliest I can give again is Feb. 25!). So, I will have to think of something else tomorrow to honor “Our Kris.” Anyone have any good ideas? Let’s all remember our good friend tomorrow by doing something in her honor and memory…….Hugs to Hans and Kris’ family!!!!

R.I.P Kris. You will be sorely missed by us all.
