Pain management

Hi again! My husband was on Morphine but started out much higher. If the Tylenol 3 is working that is great but if you feel it does not work well enough, never let the pain get beyond control as the longer you wait to be comfortable the harder it can be to control it. Again, let the ONC help.
On my last visit to my oncologist I was given 15mg morphine pills for pain. I am reluctant to take it as m y pain is not that severe and I am afraid to get addicted to it.
I do get pain where my liver is and in my upper back but so far can manage it with tylenol 3. Has anyone any experience with morphine?
