    Hi Jim,

Just read this thread….sorry that I have been AWOL for awhile. I just posted that this disease (for most, it appears) is a lot like the carnival game “Whack-A-Mole” and you just have to keep pounding when it pops back up again.

I am praying for your continued strength and courage in this battle…

I just heard of a recent vaccine for cancer that was developed in Tel Aviv and is now in clinical trial:

It sounds very promising for those who have been battling cancer repeatedly.

Please continue to let us know how you are doing and if there is anything we can do to help.

    Prayers continuing…

    Patti

    Jim,

I’m so sorry to hear it was cc, but it’s great it was removed! Hang in there. You are in my prayers.

    Jim,

I vote for you to keep the thread. You have great doctors that are watching you like a hawk. They removed the bad spot in your lung. I’m wishing you all the best. By the way, I saw your puppy on Facebook and she is a beauty. Loved the pics on the beach. Take care.

Jim, Bad news – cc mets. Good news – no chemo! Good news – they removed the nasty and will remove any others that pop up! Good news -Dr. Sonnett = huge reputation! Three against one for good news! Sending you healing wishes and hugs. Nancy

Time to end this thread. The path report wasn’t good. The feature removed from the right lung was cc and there is micro cc in the pleural fluid around the lung. I was toying with restarting chemo, but according to my dear onc Abby, it’s typically not effective if there are no visible tumors present. She said if cc represents in either lung, Dr Sonett can just remove it again and again as needed. Just have to hope it doesn’t pop up in an inoperable place. My MD onc knew Dr Sonett when they both were at Univ of MD medical school, and he said Dr Sonett has a huge reputation. I vote to stick with overachievers every time.

Lainy, you don’t know real pain until you hear my dear wife sing. The pets put their paws over their ears.

Jim, I would sing you a lullabye but then you would really be in pain!

Time to say ‘yes to drugs” for another night of uninterrupted sleep. No real pain, though.

Praying your path reports stay on track! You are in a white light, sir!! Stay in there and keep going!
