– JoyceMy husband Pastor Charles Turner passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2007. He had been battling this disease since November, 2004. He leaves behind four children, the youngest of which turns four next week. I was initially unable to post because my heart is unbearably broken as everyone must be who has to face this. But I remembered that Charles was a man of great faith and he fought to the end. And I know in my heart that he is now resting in the arms of Jesus. I too delivered my husband’s eulogy because I felt that there was no one else who could truly express the man that he was. This seems to be a month of great loss on this website. I will continue to pray for each of you and I look forward to the day when this sorrow will end.
