Pam,
I am so sorry for the loss of your dear husband. It is so unjust, this disease that robs us of our loved ones. I pray you find comfort in the wonderful memories that I am certain you hold dear to your heart. I lost my Dear Dad on January 13th of 2007 to this insidious disease. It was two months for him from diagnosis to death and my heart shattered into a thousand pieces watching his life slip away. The world suffered a great loss at his departure… I don’t know many souls like his… kind, gentle, caring and pure of heart. I draw comfort from who he was and our strong and close relationship and I try to live my life by his example in honour of him.
I wish you peace of heart and spirit,

December 31, 2007 at 12:35 pm #1003pmfpaMemberMy dear husband lost his battle Dec 29th. I’m so heartbroken, I can hardly write of this.
He was a wonderful man with a superior intellect. He graduated form Harvard Law and could have sought out a lucretive career. He opted for a lucrative life and helping humanity.
He had a long career as a consumer advocate, fighting for the consumers rights mainly in telecommunication issues. Trying always to serve the under served.
He had a passion for the environment that was played out in his love of fly fishing and diligent work in Trout Unlimited to protect the land and streams.
His greatest love was his family. We have two children, ages 24 and 21.
He was a vibrant 56 year old until this devistating disease.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him across the country.
