Wonderful. I am so happy for you.

What chemo was he on and what kind of radiation did he have?

Hello everybody. he got scanned today, the official results (meaning all the analysis to see if the cancer has not spread, if the tumor is resectable, etc) will not be until June 16th. However, we got some great news!

His tumor was at 6 cm before treatment. It is now at 1.5cm!!!!!!! the doctors are amazed and think that the cancer might be scar tissue now! we are so delighted. I think I will post on “good news whats working” once we get the truly good news on the 16th :)

Thank you all for your support and prayers. I broke down and started crying like a baby when we got the initial good news. Its a very very good day :)

    Sincerely,
    JoeWillLive

Good thoughts and prayers coming your way. If he is not resectable now, he might be later. There are several people on the boards who had their tumors shrink enough for surgery. So dont lose hope.

I can attest that screaming when alone in the car is extremely therapeutic. FYI….make sure the windows are up!

You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. You will find this will be one of your best support groups! Please keep us posted.

    Hugs!

It is scary isn’t it? I suggest you take a long walk or sit in the car where no one will hear and let our some good screams. You will be surprised how it will help. We are praying for some good news.

    Hello everybody,

I have some updates for my father in law.
He went through 6 weeks of chemo and radiation and finished it at end of April (he was considered unresectable, but he is 50 and was in great condition. As far as they know its one tumor about the size of golf ball). He gets a rescan today. So I was wondering you all will be kind enough to pray for the greatest results. I am shaking right now, and I am praying with all of my might for him.

He has been getting treated and will be scanned at University of Pennsylvania. I am sorry if this post seems disorganized, I am so scared and I just cannot think straight.

    Sincerely,
    JoeWillLive
