    My husband had PVE, although not through the jugular. The procedure required an overnight stay in the hospital and some discomfort, but very tolerable.

    Louie…..I hope for others to chime in on the not previously mentioned procedure for Portal Vein Embolization.

    My husband has to have a PVE performed and they are going through his jugular vein due to the location of his tumor, to do this procedure. I have checked online and can not find anything in regards to a PVE being done through the jugular vein. Has anyone had a PVE done this way, and if so, can you please provide me with your experiences with it?
