New Year’s Eve chemo party might work out for me! I will bring a cheese ball and crackers if it does! We are going to put together my schedule at my next appointment. We should end up with 9 or 10 here for Thanksgiving. And since I feel GREAT, my husband and I will be doing the cooking. You are right Grover, it was great to meet another survivor. And yes, EVERYDAY COUNTS!

November 21, 2011 at 5:31 pm #54371marionsModeratorGrover… Just read your blog and had to chuckle especially in regards to your wife’s preparations for the Holiday. Although, you have posted the link in your postings it is likely to get lost in the continuous threads on this board. I am wondering: would you mind re-positing it in the “Blog” section on the site? This would assure for easy access to everyone, anytime. If you so chose to do go ahead and use the specific designated link and need help please, don’t hesitate to ask our rick@cholangiocarcinoma.org.
Thanks for considering and have a fun Thanksgiving. (I just know that you will)
All my best wishes,
MarionNovember 21, 2011 at 5:03 pm #54370lainySpectatorOh My, My heart is melting from the 2 of you. 12 people here for Thanksgiving with Golf the next day!

It was good to meet another survivor, ( everyday counts, right ), now we’re planning for a New Year’s Eve Chemo party, should we both be there at the same time. Well, on Friday 12/30 Close enough for me.
20 Family members coming to our house for Thanksgiving, it will be fun.
PS, Cindy only, my appt. on 12/30 is 11:30, for 4 hours of fun, fyi.

November 21, 2011 at 11:34 am #54368candrewsSpectatorThanks everyone! @ Pamela – Of course I knew what pants he would be wearing , but he also told me which doors he would be coming in and approximately what time. Actually my husband saw him before I did and said “there he is”! And his wife is a wonderful person too! Now that I will be receiving chemo through my chest port, our paths could cross more often!
Have a great day everyone! Rain here in Indiana for the next 2 days. I have plenty to do inside to get ready for Thanksgiving!Cindy
November 21, 2011 at 5:37 am #54345marionsModeratorCindy…two people with a rare cancer treated by the same physician, indeed that beats the rare occurence of this disease. Add to that a personal meeting – that comes close to being a miracle. I share your joy.
All my best wishes,
MarionNovember 21, 2011 at 2:42 am #54367lainySpectatorOMG, Cindy! It doesn’t get anymore exciting than that. I always say on this site that when you meet a member it is amazingly awesone!!! Oh, I am so glad for you both. Mini convention!
November 21, 2011 at 2:13 am #54366pamelaSpectatorCindy,
That is exciting. What a small world. Did you know it was him by the pants he was wearing?

November 21, 2011 at 1:57 am #54365candrewsSpectatorHello everyone! Guess who I got to meet at the hospital last Friday? If you guessed Grover or Captain with the prayer pants, you are correct! Is it weird for me to say that I found it so exciting to meet someone with the same rare cancer as I have, that lives so close to me and goes to the same Doctors?
