Thank you for your quick reply! We will check in with his doctor tomorrow. Have a good evening :)

Katheryn…Cipro (Ciprofloxacin) can cause an unusual change in the amount of urine and Metronidazole (Flagyl) can cause constipation; we have had reports on that.
But due to the fact that Patrick also has swollen feet I would make sure (as you have already contemplated) to call the physician.

Hi. My fiancé Patrick had a stent replacement exactly one week ago today. The first stent that was put in collapsed and there was a bad infection in which the doctors are giving him antibiotics to treat. He is taking 1 500mg tab of metronidazole, three times a day & 1 750mg tab of ciprofloxacin, two times a day. Since having the stent replaced and being on these antibiotics he has had swollen feet (it only goes away when he laying down with his feet elevated), has been experiencing constipation, and much lower urine output. I know that it is best to ask his doctors in which we will follow-up with, however I am wondering if anyone has had any experienced (or know of) these symptoms after having a stent replacement or being on antibiotics? Will this go away? Any help would be great! Thank you!
