Ah, Susie Q, I hate to hear these things. You ARE a wee one and I used to say about my short Teddy, how does one so small stand so tall…that is for you as well. You are remarkable on how you are travleing this road. Every ditch that comes your way, you just pave right over it. I admire you so much. I hope these next few days are more cofortable for you. Sometimes I think the worse one feels the more the Chemo is working. Stay strong and wishing you to feel better!

So, brief history on my for those of you who don’t know me. I’m 32, diagnosed 5-5-11 with intrahepatic CC after successful resection with 1 close margin of 2mm. Completed 3 cycles of Gem/Cis. Moved on to 6 wks of chemo radiation with Xeloda. I have 8 treatments to go. 3 regular treatments then I move on to the “boost” I have been feeling great up until about a wk ago. It started out with bad acid reflux so I was started on prilosec. Then it started to hurt when I swallow. Now I’m really nauseous, even vomited twice over the weekend. I’ve started taking some of my prn’s compazine and zofran during the day and ativan at night. I was really hesitant to take the ativan but it really has been helping me sleep and I don’t have that drugged/groggy feeling. I’ve lost 4lbs which is really upsetting to me since I am already a tiny thing. I’m a size 2 and I fear if I loose more weight I will need to start shopping in the children’s department store. But, again, only 8 treatments to go. I will be finished before Thanksgiving. So there is a light at the end of the tunnel!
I hope all of you are well!

    Susie
