My deepest sympathy goes to you all on the very sad news of Rick’s passing. He truly was a fighter and a great advocate for many people on this board.

Ken, my most sincere and deepest sympathy to you and your family.

Rick was a good man and will be remembered with kindness.

It is with such sadness that I’ve learned of the passing of yet another good “friend” in our CC family. The last several months have been difficult. Rick’s courage and faith in the face of this evil disease were always inspiring. He is now at eternal peace in the presence of the Lover of his soul. May God bring peace to those left behind to mourn.

Ken, Thank you so much for thinking of us and letting us know in this painful time for you. Rick is a wonderful man and his postings helped me a lot. God bless you and the whole family.

Rick was so helpful to many in the CC community – he will be badly missed. My condolences to you, Cindy, Lauren, Carter and all of your family at this difficult time for all of you.

    Take care……….Gerry

To Rick Kamps dad and mom: You raised a strong Christian son. In God’s time it will only be in a blink of an eye that we will all be together. God bless.

    Ken and family,

My deepest sympathy goes to you all on the very sad news of Rick’s passing. He truly was a fighter and a great advocate for many people on this board.

Wishing you all strength and peace as you face the future.

I am so sorry to hear of Rick’s passing. May peace be with you and yours.

    Dear Ken,

You raised a remarkable son. He was such an inspiration to all of us. His devotion to God and family was so wonderful to see. I know Rick has been greeted by all of our loved ones and friends that have gone before. Please share my condolences with your family. I’m so sorry Rick is gone but I rejoice that he is finally free of the pain.

I’m sending hugs and prayers for strength to all of you,

Peace, blessings and comfort for your entire family. Hold on to the joyous rememberance of your son and the knowledge that you all will be reunited in God’s glorious Kingdom. In His name,

Dear Ken and Family, I do not post very often but read almost daily, and was so very saddened to hear about Rick. I am so very sorry for your your loss. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. ~ Jenny

Rick was an inspiration to many of us caregivers and CC Patients alike. He will be missed on this board. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family and to Rick’s wife and children. Although he is at peace now, the days ahead will be difficult for his family.

Ken, I was so saddened to hear of Rick’s passing at such a young age. Getting to know him through his posts made me realize what a remarkable young man he was. I can understand why you are so proud. I am glad he has his faith and so does the rest of your family; it will help you through this most difficult of times. I know you will miss him terribly but he is with you forever. My condolences to you and all of Rick’s family and friends. We will miss him on this site, but let us know how you are all doing from time to time. Nancy

Dear Ken – Nothing compares to the loss of a child. I am so sorry that Rick went on before you, however, now that he has gone before you, he has blazed the trail. I am sure nothing would make him happier than to know that by his love and his example, he blazes a trail for you to follow so that you will be reunited again one day. The pain of the days ahead is awful, but I know that it is lessened by our faith and dependence on God. I am walking this walk myself and I assure you that it has been better because of my faith. I pray that this strengthens and carries you as well through the difficult days ahead. Be encouraged by the son you raised, the life he lead, and the example he set for others. Be in peace. Blessings, Susan

Sincere condolences, Rick was such a brave fighter and a wonderful spirit. My thoughts are with Cindy, Lauren and Carter, and all Rick’s family and friends.
