Thank you, Ken for reaching out to us in this difficult time. Rick has left little footsteps in our hearts and he will never be forgotten. His entries on this board will continue to guide us in our journey with this disease. It is for Rick and all the others having gone before him that the day will come and our mission will be achieved in that this cancer will be cured.
    All my love,
    Marion

At 3:15 yesterday April 16, Rick met Jesus. I want to take a moment to thank each and everyone one of you that knew Rick from this wonderful site. I found this site by mistake one day while researching this rotten CC. I never mentioned this to rick as I felt this should be his private place to communicate with others. Now that I have read through the history of these entries I am in awe of the support you have given my son on his journey. Ricks faith in God was awesome. In his last word he whispered to me “How is Mom doing” . He said “Mom and Dad please dont be sad for me, I am the winner in all this, If you need to be sad be sad for my family”. His courage through all this was an inspiration to many people around the world. I am very proud to be his Father. Ricks caring bridge website is Rickkamp (no space) if any of you would care to read his entries or make your own. Once again thank you all you wonderful people. I cant offer advice like Rick did I only know that this disease
SUCKS. My prayers are with every one of you

    Rick Kamps Father
    Ken
