Right hip and lower abdomen numbness?

What a ride indeed! We have had two PET scans the last two months, but I bet you are right. Another day, another scan. Some days I wonder if a dozen CT scans, six MRI’s and two pet scans in six months is helpful!
Hi Stacey. My guess would be that if you tell the ONC he may order a bone scan to see if anything is going on there. That is what they did when Teddy was complaining about his hip. Fortunately that turned out good but all they can do is rule things out. What a ride, yes?
We are seeing two doctors this week and my dad takes pain meds already, so he is dealing with this, but has anyone else had this? My dad has had several abdomen surgeries, but this is much lower and wraps around his hip. It is not his sciatica, as he has had that before. This is numbness that brings pain?!
My dad had a Whipple, with several problems in March and we cannot start chemo until his latest open abdomen wound (from MRSA) is virtually closed. He has a(nother) wound pump, fingers crossed we can start chemo in December.
