Ron was a shining example to all of us. He gave so much of himself to all who came to this site.
He will be at peace now, his work is done.Without Ron, Jeff and everyone on here (too numerous to mention in detail) I cannot comprehend how I could have coped with my son Alan.
I wish you peace, love and time to reflect on how many other lives Ron has touched. love and light Alan’s mom

“The end of a great life should be as celebratory as its beginning. Both stages are inevitably linked. It is how a human being engages with the middle bits that reflects who they really are”. (Lesley McIntyre)
I didn’t ‘know’ Ron as well as many here only having just joined a few months’ ago, but he came across as an amazing man, who gave others such wonderful support and encouragement and always with humour. I’m sure he will leave a great hole in your lives.
with deepest sympathy

I am so very sorry to hear about Ron. He was very supportive to me on this board when I was posting about my Dad, who passed away on Oct 20. I am thinking of you and your family during this very difficult time.

I am so sorry, he will be dearly missed on this board. He made us laugh, he made haggis hilarious, his sense of humor was priceless. He was a proud Scotsman and our very own tour guide of all things Scottish.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on Ron’s passing. He was one of the “old timers” here, so full of life, so upbeat and funny. I’ll miss him, but I’m sure he was even more amazing in real life. I hope you find some peace in the days to come.

I cannot tell you how sad I am for your family as well as for the wider cc family. I really was not expecting this so soon. We had just been in email contact about a week ago and I just did not feel it coming.
Ron was such a wonderful, funny, and helpful man. He had that Scottish wit that could bring a smile to my face even in the darkest times. I will miss him in ways that are deep and profound.
Margaret, I hope I am not crossing any lines, but I want you to know that Rons love for you so deep. In fact, in his last email, he had such wonderful things to say about you and your life together that I know he had a well lived and well loved life.
My deepest felt condolences.
