Cindy:
Praying the chemo cocktail works for you. Just remember: no cold food or drinks! And make sure you have gloves handy in case you need them.
I hope the chemo attacks thos darned tumors! Next scan: all shrinkage!
I received word today from my Oncologist’s office that my insurance provider has approved the Oxaliplatin for me. So, I will be receiving my first treatment this Friday!
I’m sorry to hear your ct wasn’t what you hoped for. It sounds like a plan is in place so that’s great. I bet it was nice to see Grover. We could all use a Grover in the waiting room.
Let us know hoe chemo goes.
I forgot to tell you what the best part of today was. When I got finished with the Dr., Grover and his wife Joan were sitting in the waiting room! It was so good to visit and talk to the both of them. They both really uplifted my spirits and gave me an attitude adjustment too!
Well, I did not get the great news that I had hoped for. My oncologist said it was “mixed results”. Some of the tumors were smaller, and some of the tumors were slightly larger. So, next Friday, after insurance approval, I will be starting on Oxaliplatin/Xeloda. Thanks for all of your well wishes and prayers!
