    Thank you both. We have just come back from a visit with the oncologist and metastases have gone down by a 1/3 in size. Main tumour remains stable. This is good news. He is now half way through the 6 mo of chemo.

    AFTER 4 ROUND OF GEMOX TOM HIS METASTASES IN THE LIVER ALMOST GONE,, AND THE TUMOR IN THE BELLY WALL SCHRUNK SPECTACULAIR…

    My father had results after 3 months after gem/cis. HIs tumors had shrunk at that time.

    Can anyone tell me if it is likely to see some positive changes on a scan done after 3 months of chemo ( oxyplatin/5FU) or is it too soon?
