    Lisa,
Doctor decided my pain was part of urinary tract infection. Just to toss out another option for others who have some problem and reading this thread.

And HELLO Irene. I havent seen you here in awhile. Hope you are doing ok.

Thank you for the update, Lisa. My sister gets shooting pains in her right side, too. They seem to scare me more than they do her!!

I’m glad yours has gone away.

So the pain in the right side went away. Like Marion said, not all things are related to cancer.

It’s just the first place our minds go to to explain unusual occurances.

Good luck on Monday, Lisa. Often pain is not related to the cancer, but our minds go there quickly. I am wishing for good news.

I dont know what to say but I am having those pains right now too. I am hoping it is from radiation. Let us know how it goes on Monday. Hang in there.

    Hi Lisa,

My dad used to get sharp twinges of pain every so often in the side where he had the stent and also used to get shooting pains every so often in his lower back area, but he never found out what the back pains were. He used to describe the back pain as a very fast shooting pain that would go away just as quickly as it came on. Maybe the pain is stent related? Or maybe a pulled muscle or something like that?

Hopefully the doctor will have the answer for you tomorrow and I will keep my fingers crossed for some good news from your CT results.

    Best wishes,

    Gavin

Thanks be to God, I haven’t experienced much pain over the past three years. However, in the past few days I have had a shooting pain in my left side when I take a deep breath. Has anyone else experienced something like that and any idea what it is? I am seeing my doctor on Monday and will ask him then as well. Also on Monday I will get the results from the latest CT scan.

I can’t believe it’s been 3 years since I was diagnosed! What a roller coaster ride it’s been.
