    Hi Angela and Catherine,

Yes it is a real shame that funding for only 20 – 30 patients will be given over the next 2 years, but hopefully if SIRT is shown to be an effective treatment for CC for patients over that time then funding will be increased. Made me angry on hearing about the funding or lack of it for it but am trying to stay positive. We know that incidences of CC are rising worldwide so funding for treatments should increase as well, especially for effective treatments.

Glad the slides were of use to you Catherine and that is great to hear that your mum had SIRT and is feeling good! Sitting under the sun in Florida with the family sounds good to me, enjoy!!!

    Hugs to you both,

    Gavin

Thanks Gavin. Mom had SIRT end of Feb and feeling great.Right now she’s sitting under an umbrella looking at the gulf of Mexico. It’s been a great week in Florida with lots of family along. I appreciate the slides.

    Hi Gavin,
So good you were able to send the links from SHPBN. Dr Weir had to spend months pleading to try and get the funding for SIRT. Shame it’s only for 20 – 30 patients in 2 years when so many more could benefit.
    Thank you
