    Interestingly, I was told by a doctor at UNC that such types of surgery are actually better in European countries as they have specialized centers for this type of surgery. Where in the US, many state hospitals will do it, in Europe, each country might have 1 to 3 places that do it (depending on population) so the surgeons are more experienced. That really made my parents feel better about me being treated in Sweden.

    Looks like some in the UK are having good results in liver resection. I am not sure about the type or even if this is pertains to Cholangio but I thought it is worth reading and finding out whom over there is doing these surgerys. By good results I mean making it thru the surgery aft they are cutting off 75% of your liver and your still doing ok, that’s a good thing.
