Dearest Sophie, the strength, I believe, is always there, its just that sometimes we don’t need it as hard as other times. You also have strength in your wonderful daughter and niece. Not to mention we are all sending waves of strength out to you. I love it when I see you come on line. We are always thinking about you and sending prayers your way.

Love,

We have not stopped our thinking of you and our prayers are still going out to you and your family.May 2, 2009 at 5:27 pm #2269carol58SpectatorI posted this song on Charlie’s Caringbridge site. I think it describes so well how we feel when our loved ones are gone.
You’re in a better place, I’ve heard a thousand times
And at least a thousand times I’ve rejoiced for you
But the reason why I’m broken, the reason why I cry
Is how long must I wait to be with youI close my eyes and I see your face
If home’s where my heart is then I’m out of place
Lord, won’t you give me strength to make it through somehow
I’ve never been more homesick than nowHelp me Lord cause I don’t understand your ways
The reason why I wonder if I’ll ever know
But, even if you showed me, the hurt would be the same
Cause I’m still here so far away from homeI close my eyes and I see your face
If home’s where my heart is then I’m out of place
Lord, won’t you give me strength to make it through somehow
I’ve never been more homesick than nowIn Christ, there are no goodbyes
And in Christ, there is no end
So I’ll hold onto Jesus with all that I have
To see you again
To see you againAnd I close my eyes and I see your face
If home’s where my heart is then I’m out of place
Lord, won’t you give me strength to make it through somehow
Won’t you give me strength to make it through somehow
Won’t you give me strength to make it through somehow
I’ve never been more homesick than now -
