    Dear Amrita, I am so very sorry about your Father. Were you able to get him in to a hospital and if so what did they say? If he is still vomiting I would give him clear soups, tea and crackers. Nothing fried or spicy, only things easy to digest. Do you have nutrition drinks where you live. I am wishing for the best.

    amritavjain….I am so sorry to hear the latest news. Most likely your Dad is vomiting bile due to the obstruction. Medications may slow down this process however; only a bypass surgery will eliminate it completely. If possible, I would take him to the hospital.

    My father has been vomiting a greenish-yellow fluid every five minutes. His chemotherapy has been stopped after the second cycle since he was not a ‘good’ candidate for it. He has been diagnosed with Type IV Hilar Cholangiocarcinoma this June and we don’t know what can help him.
    Any alternative treatments that can help? Nutrition wise?
