    Julie,

I will be praying for a successful surgery for you tomorrow, with an easy recovery and an outcome even better than hoped for.

Julie, you go girl! Safe travel and we will be waiting on pins and needles. My prayer is for G-d to come through the Surgeons hands. Sending a ton of love, good thoughts, great vibes and my spirit to be at your side!

I’m about as ready as I’ll ever be….tomorrow is surgery at Mayo to remove the 1.5 cm tumor (probably bigger by now). I’ve spent the last several weeks buying Christmas gifts and wrapping (only one left to buy…on line tonight…and then several to wrap in gift bags after they arrive when I’m back home). Last night, I made a couple casseroles and sloppy joes for the freezer for after we come back home. I could use another two weeks to get to the point where I’m more comfortable with things, but I want that tumor out more. The bags are packed…..the car is ready. We’ll make the 3 hour drive to Mayo this afternoon, stay overnight and find out sometime after 8:15 p.m. tonight when I’m to report to admissions tomorrow. The nurse told me that the estimated surgical time will be 3-4 hours (half the time of my first surgery, but it involved removing two whole segments of the left lobe), unless they run into something else to deal with or there are complications. The surgery itself, on the liver, is a difficult surgery, but not particularly dangerous. I will post again when I am able after surgery.

    Julie T.
