swimming with capped tube?

    Betsy…my husband had been advised not to submerge himself in water as long as the capped tube was in place.
    But then this was a few years ago. Things might have changed.

    Has anyone been totally submerged and gone swimming with a capped tube? I am down to one tube (believe it or not!) and it is capped. Before I ask my doctor, I thought I would pose this question to all of you. I’m not sure how I would cover the hole where the tube comes out of my abdomen. Any suggestions or experiences to share?
