Dearest Lainy, I wish you all the peace and comfort at this time. I am so sorry to hear the news. So sad over the experience with hospice. Please keep all the wonderful memories close. Thank you for sharing so much of your experience with all of us. You have helped me in so many ways. Mom will be at that Italian resteraunt soon. Take care and try and get some rest.

    Dear Lainy and family

I am so sorry that Teddy has gone but grateful that you were together until the end and that it was a peaceful one.
Your story and your love for each other is amazing and will always be there. I am so pleased that you had your family Thanksgiving all together and that you have so many memories to look back on.
Sending you love and best wishes

    Dear Lainy and family
I have followed your journey and guessed time was drawing near. I am so pleased for you both that it was peaceful at the end.
This site is so marvelous at keeping us together at this terrible time, and I am sure you and Teddy have given others so much comfort.
It is your time now to be comforted and relish the memories.
All my love to you love and light Alan’s mom.

    God bless

Words are insufficient to express the loss you feel. I can only add to the heartfelt condolences and continue to offer prayers of support and strength to you and your family.

Dear Lainy, I am terrible sorry for your loss. Just reading your posts has helped me so much. Thinking of you and shedding tears I’ve been holding. Tommy.

Your story has inspired so much hope in so many people. Teddy leaves such a legacy of love, not to mention all the miracles! Now I know who to direct my prayers to when I need a little help upstairs–our very own Miracle Man!

“Watching a peaceful death of a human being reminds us of a falling star; one of a million lights in a vast sky that flares up for a brief moment only to disappear into the endless night forever.” ~Elisabeth K

    Dear Lainy,

This quote from an unknown person helped me grieve without feeling crazy. It is overwhelming, but after the storm, you will eventually get better:

“It has been said that time heals all wounds. I do not agree. The wounds remain. In time, the mind, protecting its’ sanity, covers them with scar tissue, and the pain lessens, but it is never gone.”

    Lily’s Daughter, Martha

I’m so very sorry to read about Teddy.
Peace, Love, and prayers to you all.

My thoughts and prayers to you and your family. My deepest sympathy.

    Dearest Lainey,
Peace, love, prayers….what more can I say. Teddy is now amongst Rob, Jeff and so very many others that have transitioned to the other side because of CC. Rough days coming up for you, but we are all here for you and you are a very strong being. You have been a wonderful wife and friend. Take care of you now.

Lainy-all my love and prayers are with you. Thanks to your love, Teddy’s cancer was bearable, you made his struggle and pain worth it. God bless you and lots of prayers- Cathy

    Dear Lainey,
Tom and I are very sorry to hear of Teddy’s passing. Know that you are in our hearts and prayers as you go through the coming days. We will miss Teddy but it’s good that he is free from pain and at peace.
    Take care of yourself, Mary

    My dear Lainy

My heart really goes out to you, reading that your darling man, Teddy, has passed. But you were with him every step of the journey, to the very last – and I feel it has indeed been a privilege to share a little of that journey with you.

Do you know the piece entitled “The Ship”? I will do my best to paraphrase:

A ship sets sail from the harbour and those on the quayside wave farewell until it reaches the horizon, passes from view and seemingly is gone. But, as those watching and waving farewell lose sight of it, there are others beyond the horizon seeing it come into view, and they welcome the ship into harbour with great joy – safely home!

Teddy is indeed now safely home.

With love to you and all your family.

    Helen xx

Dear Lainy – Well, just from the number of posts – you know how much you and Teddy have meant to all of us who are on this web site. All of our thoughts are with you today and always. There are no words….Nancy
