Hi Lainy~ Yup. OK, I”ll say it: It sounds a bit hoaky to me. Often when investigating an alternative doc or center I listen, fascinated and hopeful, for a long time until I hear something I find questionable or false. Then I wonder whether this discredits all the rest of what they do, or at least, their credibility.
Well, I might not have minded a reason to visit Scottsdale and am quite grateful for your offer!
Thanks and best to you,
ReginaSeptember 12, 2013 at 10:02 pm #75344lainySpectatorHi Regina, I actually have almost a first hand look at this. Scottsdale is here in Phoenix. My daughter was dating a man who has Lymphoma and he went to Envita. He went in weekly for $50,000 worth of Vitamin C given via infusion. While he didn’t get worse he didn’t get better either. Like Percy always says ‘buyer beware’. I just feel if all these “cures” worked so well why wouldn’t Doctors use them. A lot of these places I think hire the very best in Marketing.
I wish I had a magic wand to just wash away this horrible Cancer. Tell you what though, if you decide to come out here you are welcome to stay with me!September 12, 2013 at 9:53 pm #75343reginaMemberThanks, PCL. I called them and they explained that I would have to go to Scottsdale to receive their recommendations. I guess it’s best to just read the articles for now, as I am running around the states like a nut trying to get into clinical trials.
They believe in attacking the underlying causes of cancer; this treat most cancers the same way. They actually administer chemo there alongside high dose IV Vitamin C (which makes me wonder because it’s supposed to negate the effects of platins, I believe) and IV curcumin.
There is just so much to look into and no one really seems to know what works.
Best to you nad thanks for your great help.
ReginaSeptember 12, 2013 at 6:38 pm #75342pcl1029MemberHi, Regina,
These are just information that that organization and hospital puts up on their web site,Just like other hospitals (ie: Mayo)etc.
You can regard these info. are general and NOT specific. The theory of inflammation and tumor development is not new; and is GENERALLY accepted by the medical community.(ie; hepatitis B,V ,PSC etc are risk factors for CCA due to the fact that these risk factors caused inflammation of the hepatocytes in the lining of the bile ducts.)
And BTW inflammation is also the foundation for understanding the practice of Chinese herbal medicine(ie: the “Yin and Yang “or the “Cold and Hot” theory )
As always, information thru internet should treat with caution especially when money is involved.
God bless.September 12, 2013 at 6:06 pm #75341reginaMemberThis is indeed very interesting. I am giving them a call. Has anyone determined if these articles are verified and if the advice is credible? It certainly looks great.
Thanks!

September 7, 2013 at 12:21 am #75338kvollandSpectatorI read through the initial article and some of it does make sense. And if nothing else then it another avenue to explore. I will read the rest of the articles as I have time. Thanks for posting.
September 6, 2013 at 11:55 pm #8866pcl1029MemberHi, everyone,
This is a link talking about the relationship of cancer and inflammation in general.
if you don’t have time, just read the summary. If you have time, try to read other articles list after this link to learn more about the relationship between cancer and immunology in general; the smart food for cancer and an discussion about targeted therapy. it is much simpler and easier to understand than those technical and medical journal articles.
But please remember, I am not endorsing the hospital or organization that put up the information; I have just happened to read the articles and thinking I should pass along to those who are interest to know.http://envita.com/cancer/chronic-inflammation
God bless.
