Lourdes….I have learned that grief is a process, not an event and that it changes our life forever. It does not mean that happiness won’t return, but we will not be exactly the same as before. Allow yourself to heal, dear Lourdes, don’t rush through it; you are mourning a most wonderful Dad. He is with you; he always will be part of you like a thread in your fabric and remember that you cannot lose his love, ever. I hope that you can find comfort in knowing that grieving is the price we pay love.

Thank you, dear Lourdes, for your kindness by wanting to help those affected by this disease and those people, who don’t yet know. Your generosity is much appreciated.

I also would like to mention that Dawn, our Vice President, handles the fundraising events for the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation. I will forward your posting to Dawn, as she may want to mention your efforts in our blog: Our Loose Leaf Notebook.

Know that you are in my thoughts and that I wish for time to be kind to you; now and forever.

    Hugs,
    Marion

It has been a while since I posted…honestly, I didn’t want to come on the site after my dad passed. But now I have a strong desire to *do* something and I have decided to join Thirty 31 Gifts, and attempt to raise money by hosting purse parties (kinda like tupperware, but purses/bags instead).

Basically, I am now a Consultant for Thirty 31 Gifts, and every commission I receive from these parties will go to the foundation. If anyone wants to check this out, or if you think family and friends would want to participate in some way…hopefully I can bring in some money to help support research.
