    Dan –

    May God be with you and give you strength and peace. I wish I could say I didn’t understand, but I do. I lost my husband (age 57) in April to cholangiocarcinoma. We’re all here for you!

    Hi Dan,

    I am so sorry to hear of you loss. I am also a new member with a newly diagnosed husband. As I scroll through these stories I am amazed and scared at how quickly loved ones are lost from the time of diagnoses. The original symptons that sent my husband to the doctors are no longer present. He seems in such good health (although terribly depressed)…it is hard to believe there is this horrible disease within him. I am in total agreement with you as to the wonderful knowledge that this site lends and the compassion of the people involved. I too wish the doctors were so well informed. My sympathies to you and your loved ones.

    I am very sorry for your loss. I am glad that this site offered you the information you needed at the time. Please continue to visit and let us support you in your changed circumstances.
    There are so many people here who have unfortunately been through what you have and can offer you an ear, advice, or just a place to vent. It is hard to loose someone this close to the holidays but know we are here if you need us.

    Hello my name is Dan, I have been using this site for the last six months and wanted to say thanks to all who contribute to this great forum. It truly has given me a lot of information that I could not find anywhere else. My father who was 62 was diagnosed in May and after a courageous fight lost his battle in November. Unfortunately, I felt this site often left me better informed then the doctors we dealt with.
